  • A330 Airbus Procedure Training (APT): 39  hours of simulated procedural training to prepare pilots for practical application.
 
  1. Simulator Training
  • A330 Full Flight Simulator (FFS): Experience 32 hours of immersive training on Level D-certified simulators—the highest standard in flight simulation. These sessions replicate real-world scenarios with unmatched realism and are conducted at premier training locations in Madrid, Paris, or Frankfurt.
  • Expert Instruction: All training is overseen by highly experienced EASA-certified TRI/SFI instructors, bringing real-world operational expertise to the training environment.
  • Exam/LST: A thorough 4-hour License Skill Test (LST) ensures pilots meet all certification requirements.
 
  1. Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT)
    Depending on eligibility, pilots may complete base training in the simulator itself, consisting of 4–6 takeoffs, landings, and a go-around.

Type Rating Enrollment Requirements

To meet the standards of EASA PART-FCL.725A, candidates must fulfill the following requirements to enroll in the A320 Type Rating program:

  • Pilot-in-Command Experience: A certificate confirming a minimum of 70 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • UPRT Advanced Certificate: Proof of completion of an Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) course.
  • ME/IR Endorsements: A Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME/IR) annotated on your license.
  • License Requirements: A valid CPL license with ATPL theory credit, or a full ATPL license.
  • Medical Fitness: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate in accordance with EASA regulations.
  • MCC Certification: Evidence of successful completion of a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course.
  • English Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency at Level 4 or higher.
 

These prerequisites are designed to ensure candidates are fully prepared and meet the high standards necessary to undertake A320 Type Rating training, paving the way for a successful career in commercial aviation.
