Pilots who hold an ATP license and Type Rating with 500 hours of experience will benefit from the greatest reduction of hours to carry out their license conversion with the corresponding rating, according to Regulation 1178/20211 of the European Commission, so they will have to do the following:

1. They must complete a theoretical training course of ATPLas appropriate and pass the corresponding theoretical exams.This course can be performed Online.

(I) Theoretical of Airline Transport (ATPL) ON-LINE

(I.a) 400 Teaching hours (CBT platform) / bewteen 3 and 6 months

(I.b) 90 Teaching hours by video conference (doubt resolution)

(I.c) Didactic material in CBT and personalized tutoring

(II) Pass Theoretical 14 subjects exams

2. EASA initial Medical Certificate Class I (Not included)

3. EASA Linguistic Competence Level 4 Minimum (Not Included)

4. Pass ATPL SKILL TEST in a LEVEL D Full Flight Simulator

License can be obtained with any EASA AuthorityThe skill test shall be taken in the aeroplane or an adequately qualified FFS representing the same type.

The ATP skill test may serve at the same time as a skill test for the issue of the licence and a proficiency check for the revalidation of the type rating for the aircraft used in the test and may be combined with the skill test for the issue of a MP type rating.
